Pokelike APK and Mobile Play
Direct answer
Play original Pokelike at pokelike.xyz in your browser. Open Login / Signup to register or sign in, keep the correct username, and check that cloud save is active before moving devices. In the v3.5 client, a recovery email enables a one-hour password-reset link; a local/cloud conflict asks which progress to keep. Start from the browser with your most complete collection, compare the shown progress before replacing either copy, and keep that browser intact until the second device shows the same account and records. Pokelike2.com has separate local saves.

Is there an official Pokelike APK?
The official community link announcement says there is no official app planned for any device. The supported destination it names is pokelike.xyz. A third-party store listing or APK with a similar title does not change that statement.
This page provides the browser route to the original game. It does not distribute an APK or direct you to a repackaged installer. The separate Pokelike2 browser project and similarly named store listing are explained in the Pokelike2 guide.
Start playing in your phone browser

- Open https://pokelike.xyz/ directly in your normal browser and wait for the title screen.
- Choose Story. For a new run, select Classic and Kanto when available, then follow the trainer and starter selection screens.
- Use the in-game menu to reach settings and the game’s own save/account options. This Wiki does not receive your game account or save.
Android: keep a convenient entry point
Open pokelike.xyz in Chrome. Google’s current web-app instructions use the menu path More → Install and create shortcut → Install when the site offers an installable web app. Follow the options your browser actually shows; labels can vary by version.
If only a shortcut is offered, use that to return to the website. Neither a shortcut nor a browser installation requires downloading an APK from a third-party listing. We have not verified a native Android app or offline support.
iPhone: use Safari and a Home Screen shortcut
Open pokelike.xyz in Safari. In the current Apple instructions, open More and then Share; layouts with a visible Share button can use it directly. Scroll to Add to Home Screen, then tap Add. If the action is missing, look in Edit Actions.
A home-screen icon opens the website. It is not an App Store release and does not by itself guarantee offline play or transfer your save between browsers.
If the game does not load or controls feel cramped
- Check the address and allow the game’s scripts and resources to finish loading.
- Try the current version of your browser and rotate the phone if a control is difficult to reach.
- Keep a record of the game version, browser and failing action when reporting a problem.
- Before clearing website data or moving to another browser, use any backup or account options provided by the game and verify them. Clearing local data is not a harmless first troubleshooting step.
What was checked for this guide
We opened the official v3.1 game in Chrome at a 390 × 844 viewport and checked the Story, Classic/Kanto and trainer-selection flow. Browser shortcut instructions come from Apple and Google documentation.
A narrow desktop viewport is not a physical Android or iPhone test. Native-device compatibility, long-run performance, cloud-save restoration and offline play were not verified by this review.

Save and cloud sync
These original-Pokelike instructions follow the public v3.5 account and save handlers checked October 19, 2026. Start on pokelike.xyz in the browser with the progress you want to keep. Note the exact username, a distinctive caught Pokémon, a Hall of Fame entry and your currency before changing devices. A home-screen shortcut alone does not connect two saves.

Create an account or reconnect the original one
Sources: Pokelike v3.5 client — account recovery and changed Ice/Steel rules
- Open the game menu and choose Login / Signup. For an existing save account, choose Log In and enter that original username and password; do not create a new account as a substitute for recovering the old one.
- For a genuinely new account, choose Register, enter a username and matching password/confirmation, optionally add a recovery email, then choose Create account. The optional email is for password recovery, not a second game username.
- Open the account control again and check the displayed signed-in name and cloud-save status. Connecting, local only, Sync paused and cloud save active are different states.
- Use the original account: the client handles a browser copy owned by another account separately and does not promise to merge it. Keep the browser containing the desired records intact until you know which account owns them.
Move the right progress to another browser or device
Sources: Pokelike v3.5 client — account recovery and changed Ice/Steel rules
- On device A, sign in to the correct original account and reconnect the save server. If A is the copy you deliberately want to keep, open the signed-in account screen.
- Force Upload to Cloud is an explicit replacement of the cloud with A. Use it only after checking that A is the desired copy; the confirmation warns that newer progress on other devices will be lost. Wait for the uploaded confirmation rather than treating a click as success.
- On device B, open the same pokelike.xyz origin and sign in with the same username. If Cloud Save Found appears, compare the displayed account and records before choosing Load Cloud Save. Loading cloud replaces B’s local progress.
- For Save Conflict, inspect Only on this device and Only in the cloud. Keep Local uploads that device; Load Cloud Save chooses the server copy. The second confirmation is irreversible; back out of the choice if you have not identified the copy to keep.
- Confirm on B that the distinctive Pokémon, Hall of Fame record and currency match A. Collection progress and an active run are separate checks: the current client synchronizes only its supported parked long-run modes, so an arbitrary Story or weekly run need not appear as resumable. Keep A until both the records and any supported resume state are correct.
Add a recovery email before you lose access
While signed in, open the account screen and choose Add email or Change email. Enter an address you can access, choose Save email, then reopen the account screen and check the displayed address. The client says no confirmation mail is sent; an empty inbox does not mean the address was rejected. Check its spelling. Removing it removes the password-reset route.

Forgot password or the reset link expired
Sources: Pokelike v3.5 client — account recovery and changed Ice/Steel rules
- From Login / Signup choose Forgot password?. Enter the original username or the email already on that account, then choose Send reset link. If the username itself looks like an email address, enter that username.
- Check that mailbox and spam folder. The client describes a one-hour reset link. Open a valid link, enter the new password twice, and submit Set new password. The success message identifies the signed-in account.
- An expired or invalid link requires a new request. Too many attempts means wait before retrying. A generic check-inbox message does not prove that an email address was on file or that mail was delivered.
- If no recovery email was saved and you have forgotten the password, the documented reset flow cannot invent one after the fact. Preserve any browser where you still have access and use the official community support route with the account name and error description; never post a password, reset link or session token.
If sync is offline, paused or seems to have lost progress

| What you see | What to do | How to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Connecting or save server unreachable / local only | Keep the local browser data. Restore connectivity and retry the same account; do not clear site data as a first fix. | The correct signed-in name and online/active status appear, then another browser shows the expected records. |
| Sync paused | The client says the server is temporarily paused and local saving continues. Continue protecting that browser copy until the service reconnects. | Do not assume a second device has received changes while pause is shown. |
| Session expired or cloud security upgraded | Log back into the original account. The client preserves progress on this device while asking you to reconnect. | Check the signed-in account and records before a replacement/upload. |
| A collection is present but Resume is missing | Separate long-term collection sync from a particular active run. Resume the original browser when the mode is not in the client’s supported parked-run set. | Compare collection/Hall of Fame first, then check the supported run separately. |
| Brave-specific sync trouble | A dated August 21, 2026 community report describes a Brave/cloud issue. It is a reported case, not proof every current Brave session is broken. Preserve the fuller local copy and verify account sync before trying another browser. | A browser switch is complete only after the second copy shows the desired progress. |
