Pokelike Battle Tower

Pokelike v2.9 Battle Tower runs through six official regional stages—Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos. Choose a Starter from Pokémon you have already caught, build Type Traits during the run, and follow the fixed Trainer groups exposed by the client; the official page separately confirms that the mode includes regional bosses.

The public page still says five regions, but its current v2.9 client exposes six accessible stages. This overview follows the executed client data and records that conflict instead of dropping Kalos.

Mode rules and unknowns

What the current official sources actually establish

Official mode fact

Starter source

Choose a Starter from Pokémon already captured by the player.

The importer also records each stage's regional Starter IDs; this is not an official recommendation.

Official mode fact

Progress and fixed Trainers

The client supplies six ordered stages and three fixed Trainer groups for each Region. This client field alone does not classify every listed Trainer as a boss.

Explicit unlock condition:Not established by the current official source.

Unknown boundary

Rewards and permanent upgrades

Stage rewards: Not established by the current official source.

Permanent upgrade / EV rules:Not established by the current official source.

Two evidence layers

Type Traits exist officially; the point model is community-reported

Pokelike's official page establishes that Battle Tower builds Type Traits. The Wiki's specific normal/Shiny contribution and Tier calculations come from attributed community sources. An official mode fact and a community calculation model are not the same evidence layer.

Stable preparation workflow

Prepare without pretending there is one best team

  1. 01

Choose a Starter that is actually available in your captured collection.

  2. 02

Record the team in its real battle order.

  3. 03

Check shared defensive weaknesses before investing further.

  4. 04

Enter only attacking types the team can really use.

  5. 05

Review overlapping types and the resulting Trait model.

  6. 06

Compare one replacement and read what changes and what stays unchanged.

  7. 07

Return to the current Region data before starting the stage.
