Pokelike EVs and Vitamins — Cost, 5% Stats and Investment Caps

Direct answer

In the checked v3.5 client, one Vitamin costs 200₽ and normally adds 5% to its stat contribution. Each stat is capped at 10 points; Attack and Special Attack rise together and count as one budget category. Your line’s total cap is min(10 × highest ordinary Tower stage cleared, 50), shared across that evolution line. At one Kanto clear, 2,000₽ buys the full ten-point starting budget.

Buy and apply a permanent Vitamin

  • Open the Poké Mart between runs and choose HP Up, Protein, Iron, Zinc or Carbos.
  • Select an unlocked Hall of Fame Pokémon line and inspect the existing points and current cap before applying.
  • Each successful application spends 200₽ and adds one point. Protein resolves to the relevant attack display, and the purchase code pairs Attack and Special Attack rather than charging the total budget twice.
  • Start a Tower/Challenge run with that line and verify its displayed investment. Evolution uses the same root, so you do not need to repurchase the same allocation for the evolved member.

Exact costs, increments and caps

The ordinary stat formula contributes 0.05 per permanent point before other modifiers and integer rounding. Ten points therefore represent +50%, not the +100% quoted by older guides using 10% per point. Mutant, augment, signature and special-mode rules can add or change other factors; this is not a universal final damage multiplier.

A first 2,000₽ allocation with a reason

For a carry that already has a suitable attack but loses before acting, a conditional ten-point example is 3 Speed + 3 paired Attack + 4 HP: cost 2,000₽, contributing +15% Speed, +15% Attack and Special Attack, and +20% HP in the ordinary formulas. The correct split depends on the next opponent; this is an arithmetic budget example, not a tested winning build.

If the carry already acts first but fails to survive one hit, another Speed purchase may change nothing; compare HP/Defense/Sp. Def and the held item. A newly acquired underlevelled replacement may still be weaker after an expensive type-motivated purchase.

Observed conditionAction
Per-stat maxedThat category has 10 points. Choose another useful category or use the reset action before reallocating.
Line total cappedClear the next ordinary Tower stage; Challenge clears do not count as ordinary Tower stage clears for this cap. The cap stops at 50 even after Kalos/ORAS.
Insufficient moneyThe purchase needs 200₽. A Shiny Egg costs the same as ten Vitamin purchases, so decide which goal comes first.
Speed bonus missing in a special ChallengeRead that run’s modifiers; a no-Speed-EV rule removes this allocation for that run.
Want to change a line’s buildThe Poké Mart provides a free EV reset action. It clears the entire line’s allocation; resetting does not refund the Pokédollars already spent. Confirm the line and expected loss before accepting.

Permanent investment versus run rewards

These purchases are stored for the evolution line. Run-only stat buffs, Traits, levels, Mutant percentage and temporary battle stages are separate. The current loader applies permanent buffs to Tower/Challenge-style runs; do not infer identical persistence or applicability in Story from the fact that a Pokémon appears in both modes.

What the source does not prove

  • Facts were read from the official v3.5 client on October 19, 2026. Counter plans are recommendations from its actual rosters and mechanics, not a recorded clear or a win-rate guarantee.
  • Ordinary Tower data is shown; special Challenge rules can change rosters, levels, Traits, Items and eligibility.
