Pokelike Shiny Trait Points

Direct answer
A community explanation reports that each normal Pokémon contributes 1 point to each of its represented types, while a shiny Pokémon contributes 2 points to each represented type. Every 2 points activate one Trait Tier. Under that model, one shiny dual-type Pokémon can reach Tier 1 for both of its types. Pokelike Wiki currently uses this model for Battle Tower, Challenges, and Endless, while Story and Nuzlocke show Trait value as unavailable. Mutant contribution remains unknown and is not treated as zero.
Point rule
- Normal: 1 point for each represented type.
- Shiny: 2 points for each represented type.
- Every 2 points: one Trait Tier.
- Dual-type members contribute to both types.
Tier thresholds used by the Analyzer
| Tier | Points |
|---|---|
| T1 | 2 |
| T2 | 4 |
| T3 | 6 |
| T4 | 8 |
| T5 | 10 |
| T6 | 12 |
Mode boundary
The current Wiki model enables Trait Status for Battle Tower, Challenges, and Endless.
Story and Nuzlocke still receive type analysis, but the Analyzer does not display Trait points or Tier numbers for those modes.
Effects are a separate question
The community effect breakdown is displayed with its limitations and is not used to simulate damage, chance, healing, reflection, or victory.
The point rule can drive a Tier calculation without claiming that every reported battle effect is exact.
Source boundary
What the source does not prove
- The point and mode rules are community reports, not an official complete rulebook.
- The sources do not state a Pokelike version.
- Mutant and Shiny Mutant contribution is not modeled.
