Nosepass in Pokelike

Rock

In Pokelike v3.1, Nosepass is in the Hoenn encounter pools for Mauville City and Lavaridge Town (maps 3–4). Its ordinary evolution check changes it into Probopass at level 36 or above. Check the run rules and remove Eviolite if evolution is blocked.

Where to find Nosepass

These maps include Nosepass in their normal hand-placed encounter pools. An eligible map does not guarantee a spawn on your next node.

Nosepass's evolution in Pokelike

The ordinary evolution check uses the level thresholds below. They are Pokelike rules; evolution methods from another Pokémon game may differ.

If evolution does not happen

Check whether the Pokémon holds Eviolite, whether the challenge disables evolution, and whether a Kanto fusion run restricts the target. The listed level is the threshold checked by the game, not a promise that every special mode will evolve the Pokémon.

Plan your next step

Use the Hoenn campaign map labels rather than a location or evolution method from another Pokémon game. The same location names occur in other games with different rules.

After catching Nosepass, retain it until the ordinary evolution check runs at level 36 or above. Eviolite prevents that check from evolving the holder.

Verified against the official v3.1 client. This review checks public game data and rules; it does not represent a completed playthrough. The type and Form reference below uses a separate base Pokémon dataset.

A comparison you can reproduce

Does evolving Nosepass fix your team’s weaknesses?

Compare Nosepass → Probopass in a party with Numel, Marshtomp, Makuhita, Electrike and Taillow. Adding Steel changes the defensive trade-off even though Rock stays.

Probopass gains a Poison immunity and removes Nosepass’s Grass weakness, but its Fighting and Ground exposures rise from 2× to 4×. If Ground attacks already trouble Numel and Electrike, this evolution does not remove that shared risk. Check protection before treating the new Steel typing as an automatic defensive upgrade.

Nosepass in Pokésort: colour, generation and stage

Pokelike v3.1 records Nosepass as gray, Gen 3, and Basic (0). Its puzzle types, in order, are Rock. For a Beats link with Nosepass on the left, use Rock against both types of the Pokémon on the right.

These are the official puzzle’s recorded facts, checked September 13, 2026. Basic is stage 0; later stages count earlier evolutions, including babies. Puzzle membership does not establish Story encounter availability.
