Togepi in Pokelike

Fairy

In Pokelike v3.1, Togepi appears in the early Johto and Sinnoh Story encounter pools. Its ordinary evolution is Togetic at level 15; Togetic then evolves into Togekiss at level 40. These client records use levels rather than a friendship requirement.

Where to find Togepi

These maps include Togepi in their normal hand-placed encounter pools. An eligible map does not guarantee a spawn on your next node.

Togepi's evolution in Pokelike

The ordinary evolution check uses the level thresholds below. They are Pokelike rules; evolution methods from another Pokémon game may differ.

If evolution does not happen

Check whether the Pokémon holds Eviolite, whether the challenge disables evolution, and whether a Kanto fusion run restricts the target. The listed level is the threshold checked by the game, not a promise that every special mode will evolve the Pokémon.

Plan your next step

The hand-placed encounter tables include Togepi on Johto maps 1–2 and Sinnoh maps 1–2. The original Pokédex helper lists only the species’ own generation, so the table below also shows the cross-generation entries.

Check the next stage separately: Togepi becoming Togetic does not instantly produce Togekiss. Both level thresholds are part of the same route.

Verified against the official v3.1 client. This review checks public game data and rules; it does not represent a completed playthrough. The type and Form reference below uses a separate base Pokémon dataset.

A comparison you can reproduce

Togetic adds a Flying Tier, with three new exposures

Compare Togepi → Togetic beside Mareep, Wooper, Hoothoot, Spinarak and Geodude. Hoothoot already contributes one Flying point.

Togetic’s Flying type adds Ground immunity and takes Flying from one point to two, activating T1 in the Battle Tower calculation. The same change makes this slot weak to Electric, Ice and Rock. Keep Wooper and Geodude’s Electric immunities in mind, and check the party again when Togetic later evolves at level 40.

All six members are normal, with no Shiny, Mutant or passive bonuses. These are type-chart and Trait calculations, not a battle simulation or a claim that you own the roster. No attacks are prefilled: add the moves you actually have after loading. For Story, switch the tool’s mode; these Trait Tiers describe its Battle Tower calculation.

Togepi in Pokésort: colour, generation and stage

Pokelike v3.1 records Togepi as white, Gen 2, and Basic (0). Its puzzle types, in order, are Fairy. For a Beats link with Togepi on the left, use Fairy against both types of the Pokémon on the right.

These are the official puzzle’s recorded facts, checked September 13, 2026. Basic is stage 0; later stages count earlier evolutions, including babies. Puzzle membership does not establish Story encounter availability.
