Zorua in Pokelike

Dark

Zorua evolves into Zoroark at level 30 or above in the ordinary Pokelike v3.1 evolution check. Zorua is absent from the five normal Unova Story encounter pools in this snapshot; the in-game Pokédex instead gives an Early Battle Tower hint. That hint is not an exact floor or a guaranteed encounter.

Where to find Zorua

No entry for Zorua was found in the five normal regional Story pool sets reviewed here. Special events and other modes are separate from those tables.

In-game Pokédex Tower hint: Early. This is a broad progression hint, not an exact floor or encounter probability.

Zorua's evolution in Pokelike

The ordinary evolution check uses the level thresholds below. They are Pokelike rules; evolution methods from another Pokémon game may differ.

If evolution does not happen

Check whether the Pokémon holds Eviolite, whether the challenge disables evolution, and whether a Kanto fusion run restricts the target. The listed level is the threshold checked by the game, not a promise that every special mode will evolve the Pokémon.

Plan your next step

Repeating normal Unova Story maps is not supported by a Zorua entry in these five hand-placed pools. An empty list does not prove it is impossible to obtain through every special event or mode.

The Tower hint is a broad in-game Pokédex category, not a verified exact floor. Start with the Unova Tower route when available and check the current in-game Pokédex before farming.

Verified against the official v3.1 client. This review checks public game data and rules; it does not represent a completed playthrough. The type and Form reference below uses a separate base Pokémon dataset.

What Zorua’s evolution changes in this type check

Compare Zorua → Zoroark alongside Scraggy, Sandile, Trubbish, Tympole and Pidove. Both evolving forms are pure Dark in the reference used here.

Every defensive count below stays the same, and Dark stays at three points and T1. Evolving Zorua therefore does not solve this party’s Fighting, Bug or Fairy exposure through typing alone. The level-30 evolution may change other in-game properties; this comparison does not calculate stats, moves or abilities.

All six members are normal, with no Shiny, Mutant or passive bonuses. These are type-chart and Trait calculations, not a battle simulation or a claim that you own the roster. No attacks are prefilled: add the moves you actually have after loading. For Story, switch the tool’s mode; these Trait Tiers describe its Battle Tower calculation.

Zorua in Pokésort: colour, generation and stage

Pokelike v3.1 records Zorua as gray, Gen 5, and Basic (0). Its puzzle types, in order, are Dark. For a Beats link with Zorua on the left, use Dark against both types of the Pokémon on the right.

These are the official puzzle’s recorded facts, checked September 13, 2026. Basic is stage 0; later stages count earlier evolutions, including babies. Puzzle membership does not establish Story encounter availability.
